MotoGP Argentina: Iannone, Dovizioso last lap clash - PICTURES

Nightmare for Ducati as team-mates collide within sight of double podium finish in Argentina MotoGP.
Ducati was denied a double podium finish just metres from the end of Sunday's Argentina MotoGP, when Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso clashed over second place.

Iannone attempted to pass his team-mate on the inside of the penultimate turn, but lost the front of his Desmosedici, taking both riders down.

Iannone was later handed a three-place grid penalty for next weekend's Austin round, plus one penalty point.

Speaks volumes about what a class act Dovi is to push that bike to the finish to get some points. Iannone was sketchy in the first race as well and has now crashed out of both so far. He almost took out both Honda riders on the start and now collected his team mate and ruined a great start to Dovi's championship hopes. Reminds me of Simoncelli. I like him but that was a bad piece of decision making there.
