Marc Marquez showed overnight tweaks to the set-up of his Repsol Honda paid off as he scorched his way to the fastest time in MotoGP FP3.

Leading the championship by 50 points, Marquez was fast and consistent throughout, regularly lapping in the 1m 33s before his final run, which was faster yet again.

Marquez's final time of 1m 32.451s was 0.18s up on Jorge Lorenzo, who also appeared to have a considerable turn of pace.

Maverick Vi?ales was third fastest on Saturday morning, but fifth in the combined standings, with Pol Espargaro (third) and Dani Pedrosa (fourth) both failing to better their times from Friday. Pedrosa was an early faller at turn 15 but walked away unharmed.

Andrea Dovizioso was sixth overall, with Cal Crutchlow - another faller, this time at turn two - seventh. Valentino Rossi was eighth, with Michele Pirro (ninth) and Aleix Espargaro (tenth) making the cut for Q2.

The second Suzuki man, involved in a heated on-track exchange with Valentino Rossi on Friday afternoon, fell at the slow turn 15 early into the 45 minutes.

Alvaro Bautista (eleventh), Scott Redding (twelfth), Hector Barbera (13th), Danilo Petrucci (14th) and Alex Lowes (15th) will all be involved in this afternoon's Q1 session.
