Aragon MotoGP: Pedrosa 'building on winning setup'

"We must remain totally focused on our job and on our goals, which are to continue building on the base setup we've been working on lately" - Dani Pedrosa.
Dani Pedrosa approaches this weekend's Aragon MotoGP determined to build on the base set-up that worked so spectacularly for him at Misano.

Adrift for much of this season, Pedrosa became MotoGP's eighth different winner in as many events by charging from eighth on the grid to win the San Marino round.

“Of course we'll arrive at Aragón in a good mood, as things that had already started getting better a couple of races earlier went perfectly at Misano, and we were able to achieve a great result," said the Repsol Honda rider.

"Anyway, it's important that we keep our feet on the ground, as the races are very close and hard-fought this year. We must remain totally focused on our job and on our goals, which are to continue building on the base setup we've been working on lately and to find the pace to stay at the front.

"My fan club will be here and I'll try my best to put on a good show for the fans.”

Pedrosa's Misano victory moved him 11 points ahead of Suzuki's Maverick Vinales for fourth place in the world championship.

ElbowDown93: Dani back on form is bad timing for Marquez. Expecting to hear plenty about 'team orders' now that Dani has found his feeling with the bike.
Surely a back to form Dani taking big points off Valentino and Jorge is perfect for Marcs championship run ?

The title may be out of the question for now but there is no reason why he cant win it next year, he's got the bike, all he needs it the winning combination to go wit it. He would be fully deserving of it.
