Moto3: All new 2017 line-up for Peugeot Saxoprint

Jakub Kornfeil and Patrik Pulkkinen named in new Peugeot Saxoprint Moto3 line-up.
The Peugeot Saxoprint team has confirmed that race winner John McPhee will leave the team, by announcing an all-new rider line-up for 2017.

With McPhee set to join a Honda squad the Peugeot-branded Mahindras will be taken over by Jakub Kornfeil (currently at Drive M7 SIC) and 15-year-old Patrik Pulkkinen (presently competing in the Red Bull Rookies Cup).

"We were looking for an experienced rider, who is able to finish constantly at the Top Ten," declared Florian Prüstel, general manager of the team. "With Jakub we found such a rider. He is not only a constant rider with a lot of experience, he is also able to finish on the podium and able to win races."

Of the second seat, he added: ""We are looking at Patrik a for a considerable time. We were testing with him a lot at Aragon and the results were convincing. Together with the team and alongside Jakub he will be able to learn a lot and to develop his talent and potential.“

Alexis Masbou began the season alongside McPhee, but was replaced by Albert Arenas, who is joining Aspar Mahindra in 2017.
