GP250 world championship leader Olivier Jacque extended his advantage at the top of the table with a dominant display at the Sachsenring.
Having taken pole position in qualifying on Saturday, the Frenchman simply rode away from the chasing pack in the grand prix, to win by a massive eleven seconds.
The second-placed Honda of Tohru Ukawa had no answer to the power and precision of Jacque's Chesterfield Tech 3 Yamaha, but enjoyed a similarly comfortable margin over the Frenchman's team-mate,
Shinya Nakano, who finished third to keep his championship hopes alive.

Daijiro Katoh took fourth at the death from local frontrunner Klaus Nohles, who could not hold onto his front row starting slot, and had to settle for fifth at the flag,
