Rossi ponders Tibet protest

Valentino Rossi has revealed that MotoGP riders will meet to discuss the possibility of a protest in support of Tibet at next month's Chinese Grand Prix.

"All the world is with Tibet," Reuters reports Rossi as saying. "But we need to be careful, or else they will arrest all of us."

China's reaction to protests within Tibet has prompted demonstrations around the world and caused chaos during the Olympic torch relay.

"I am 100 percent behind Tibet. We know that to demonstrate against the Chinese regime is dangerous but we will see if we can do something," said Loris Capirossi.

Rossi previously made his thoughts clear regarding the invasion of Iraq, by wearing a special rainbow helmet to ask for 'peace not war' in early 2003.
