If free practice had hinted at it, and qualifying suggested it then morning warm-up confirmed it: Andrea Dovizioso will be the man to take the fight to championship leader Marc Marquez after the pair traded top spot on Sunday morning.

The men that fought for pole position were at it again here, with Dovizioso getting the nod at the session’s close by a mere 0.117s while using the soft front-medium rear tyre combination that served him so well in qualifying.

Marquez was never far away. Indeed, the 24-year old, led the session until late on, when Dovizioso dipped into the high 1m 23s – an ominous sign for the afternoon ahead. Maverick Viñales’ Movistar Yamaha was third.

Dani Pedrosa was fourth, just ahead of front-row starter Jorge Lorenzo, whose pace over the 20 minutes was strong. Whether the Majorcan can challenge the front two throughout this afternoon’s race remains to be seen, but a podium place appears within reach. Valentino Rossi was sixth.

Pol Espargaro continued KTM’s recent form with the seventh fastest time, just 0.562s back of Dovizioso, while Scott Redding (eighth), Aleix Espargaro (ninth) and Alvaro Bautista (tenth) rounded out the top ten.

Jonas Folger’s difficult weekend continued apace, the German crashing out at the downhill turn four.

I've been a crash.net follower for more than a decade and this is my first rant!

Why?? Well, for years, crash.net have been the best website for up-to-date updates on motorsports. This is my go to site for getting the latest updates on any motorsport.

Unfortunately, for last week or two, looks like someone new has taken new charge at crash.net! I see some unnecesssary attempt to rebrand the website (a daft attempt at logo change) and screwed up the logic in which news were updated.. 40 min from end of MotoGP race and the first news to greet me is the result of Warm Up!!

Perhaps a blanket boycott until they get it sorted ?.......Or at least tell us what is going on.

This will post go on at 8 mins past 2 or perhaps 8 mins past 3, who knows ?
