Following Sunday's Valencia MotoGP season finale, an official test is being held at the circuit on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The test offers the first chance for riders to appear with their 2018 teams; Jack Miller at Pramac Ducati, Scott Redding at Aprilia and Tito Rabat at Avintia Ducati, while rookies Franco Morbidelli, Takaaki Nakagami and Xavier Simeon are making their MotoGP debuts.

Thomas Luthi is missing the test due to foot injuries at Sepang and is replaced by HRC test rider Takumi Takahashi.

Testing takes place from 10am to 5pm...

Interested in seeing Miller on the Ducati.

Wonder if Redding will actually perform on a motorcycle, Aleix has made it work just as with every other bike hes ridden.

Depends if they give him the same spec as Aleix or not.

You'd think they'd learn after the way they mistreated Lowes.

Miller already looking good on Reddings old bike.

You mean on Danilo's old bike.. No point for Jack to use GP16.. He is on GP17 from the start :D

JM does look really good, just goes to show how hard the Satellite Honda is to ride compared to the factory Repsol Honda, when JM can lap faster on a Ducati. It would have been very interesting to see how JM would have done on a Repsol Honda same with CC.

It's a disgrace how Honda don't give a similar spec bike to the Satellite team like factory Yamaha do to satellite Yamahas.

There isn't much between factory Yamaha and satellite Yamaha, yet there is a massive difference between factory Honda and satellite Honda.

Even the Satellite Ducati isn't that far from the factory Ducati.

Not exactly true...

Crutchlow has factory backing and Marc VDS is in partnership with Repsol and Estrella and receive Factory backing.
Also Pedrosa has his moments but that Honda is aggressive and unstable under braking, hence all the front end crashes... Crashes that Marquez continues to save and ride around the Honda's issues.

It's Yamaha that receive the previous years machinery and no Factory backing at all, that's why Zarco did so well on the 2016 M1, because the 2017 bike sucked after LeMans.

You must be taking drugs you claim that Yamaha would alow VR to destroy the bike so MV could not win yeah nice one Sherlock. The Yamaha make the final decison riders just give feed back. IF that was also true than MV would use the previus version and the problem would go away. You are a very bad person like Jorge that is why nobady likes in real life.

likes you in real life

Racing is not only about racing, but in the end selling. And Yamaha needs VR to sell their bike. This year, Yamaha prefer selling than racing. As simple as that. If you know the atmosphere around VR compared to his team mate, you'll know.
