Andrea Iannone leads the combined MotoGP and World Superbike field at the Jerez winter test thanks to a late push for a top time in the afternoon to head up Honda’s Cal Crutchlow.

Having topped the early times Iannone was shuffled down by Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso who was then beaten by Crutchlow before the Suzuki rider responded with a 1m 38.280s to take top spot honours on Wednesday at the Jerez test.

The factory Suzuki, KTM, Aprilia and Ducati MotoGP squads were all in action at the Spanish circuit and joined by a number of factory World Superbike teams.
