What should be the future for CRT in MotoGP?

We want to know which you think is the best direction for the new 'Claiming Rule Team' MotoGP class to take for 2013 and beyond:

1) Make CRT bikes 'equal' with the manufacturer prototypes by changing the technical rules until, theoretically, a rider would be able to set a similar lap time on a top CRT bike that he could set on a top manufacturer bike. The best riders will always sign for the factory teams anyway. Continue to award only one set of points.

2) Adjust the rules until the top CRTs are fast enough to mix with the slowest of the manufacturer MotoGP bikes, or within a certain time difference of pole/victory, but establish CRT as a clear 'class within a class' by awarding separate points, podiums and perhaps some form of title.
