Moto2:Luthi holds on in the wet for Le Mans Win

Alex De Angelis had a a massive crash on his Forward racing Suter, with his fall pushing him into the path of the incoming riders, all of whom managed to avoid the San Marino rider.

British rider Gino Rea was having a strong race on the Federal Oil Gresini with the new Suter chassis, when on lap 8 he had an amazing save only to then get clipped by Zarco and end up in the gravel.

There were early crashes for Simone Corsi, Yuki Takahasi, Randy Krummenacher and Mike Di Meglio, De Meglio rejoined and crashed out again with 9 laps left. Takahashi rejoined to finish 18th Ricard Cardus landed on his knees as his Arguinano Racing Team sparked and briefly caught fire as he crashed out.

The Moto2 championship continues at the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona in two weeks time.
