Moto2: Iannone takes home Mugello victory

Also finishing in the points were Mika Kallio (Marc VDS) in 11th, Randy Krummenacher (Team Switzerland) 12th, Mapfre Aspar rider Nico Terol in 13th, with Blusens Avintia's Julian Simon and Ricky Cardus (Arguinano Racing Team)14th and 15th respectively.

Gino Rea finished in 19th for Federal Oil Gresini (Suter) but was beaten by his Thai Honda sponsored team mate Ratthapark Wilairot who was 16th.

Toni Elias, Alex De Angelis, Xavier Simeon and Tito Rabat were among those not finish the race.

The Moto2 Championship now takes a break as the lightweight classes do not race at Laguna Seca, their next race weekend is Indianapolis 17-19 August.

I'd love to see Iannone follow repsol boy in to MotoGP Good to see Tech 3 are starting to sort that bike out, once he has the wheels Bradders can silence the doubters

The problem is not 46 shaped, it is Spanish, they get the best bikes for their riders, hype them up, get rivals denied upgrade parts like Suter's swingarm that mysteriously could only be made for Marquez, like Smiths mysteriously underperforming engine, so we get a Spanish run series full of Spanish riders on the best kit. Why not just make MOTOGP the Spanish MOTOGP Championship and let us have Bike Formula 1 with the best riders out there, not just from one country.
