Jerez Moto2: Rabat seals career first victory.

Marcel Schrotter on the second of the Desguaces La Torre bikes completed the top ten, after finishing just outside in the previous two races.

Tom Luthi's first full weekend back from injury saw him score eleventh for the Interwetten outfit . The first non Kalex or Suter finisher was QMMF's Ant West in twelfth on a Speed Up machine.

Also in the points were Came Iodaracing's Johann Zarco in 13th, ahead of Simone Corsi's NGM Mobile Recing bike with the final point awarded to his team-mate Alex De Angelis in 15th.

Randy Krummenacher finished 18th on his 100th Grand Prix start, while Ratthapark Wilairot ended the same milestone performance in the medical centre with a knee injury.

British riders Kyle Smith and Danny Kent both had excursions in to gravel over the course of the race, Tech3's Kent finished in 27th place, Blusens rider Smith recorded a DNF.
