Le Mans Moto2: Redding takes first Moto2 win in France

Also in the points were Randy Krummenacher in 11th (Technomag carXpert), Simone Corsi on 12th (NGM Mobile Racing), Sandro Cortese in 13th , his first points in his rookie season for the Dynavolt Intact GP team, Marcel Schrotter in 14th (Desguaces La Torre SAG) with the final point going to Tech3's Louis Rossi.

His team-mate Danny Kent was just outside the points in 16th. Fellow Brit Kyle Smith didn't finish for Blusens Avintia completing a hard day for the team as Toni Elias had problems before the race had even started with a broken radiator. The Spanish former champion had been fastest in warm-up but failed to finish.

Wild card Gino Rea retired with 16 laps to go with mechanical issues after running as high as 12th place. He went back out for some extra track time and recorded finishing 26th but 10 laps down.
