Barbera takes home 125cc victory.

Hector Barberá started the party early for the Spanish fans at Valencia today when he took a home victory in the opening 125cc Grand Prix.

Barberá dominated proceedings, taking the lead from Andrea Dovizioso on lap four before a rare mistake from the World Champion saw him run into the gravel and return to the track in twelfth place.

Dovizioso mounted a strong comeback to take second place but was powerless to catch Barberá, whilst Alvaro Bautista held off the challenge of his fellow Spaniards Pablo Nieto and Sergio Gadea to clinch the final podium spot in third.
