"Indeed, when Fiat Yamaha needed a replacement for the injured Valentino Rossi, it was Crutchlow who was offered the ride, " Oh really? But were there Brits in GP when the bikes were 1000cc? Checking in 2006, there was only Ellison and in 2005 Byrne and Ellison. the word then was finances as there were no British teams. so what will have changed? Not that there aren't a lot of fast Brits as was stated.
