Billy...fully agreed...Stoner rode around his problems but that is not a fix and that may also explain his 1 championship. Rossi knows this and he is obviously building a future championship machine. At any rate, I don't want to sit here and type excuses for the multiple champ who has continually proved himself.
Fact is, there is a lot going on that we do not know and Rossi was on the opposite end of the man he replaced...a little disheartening but as a fan, I believe that this is a small part of a larger puzzle that Rossi, Burgess and Ducati will reveal come race day next year.
Please do not sit there and tell me that the guy who came 3rd on Sunday is slow.... The bike obviously played a large part in his performance today with a lot of work to be done to get it right!
