Interesting interview with Hayden last week on soupkast(#121). About 14'30" in he talks about Stoner always wanting to go stiffer/harder on set-up, something he didn't entirely agree with by the sound of it.
Saying that Casey rejected this years bigger stiffer ohlins fork to try and regain some feel, which to some degree they achieved at Aragon with geometry and balance changes, but the problem seems inherent.. Rossi wants a more compliant front end so they'll give him a new front subframe to test.
Did Stoner ask for a re-engineered, softer chassis? I doubt it listening to Nicky.
