If your shoulder had been giving you grief all year, and you were getting it operated on 1 week after the test, you would risk injury, pre op, and risk the whole of season 2011, on a good 1st out test time?" Rossi had just finished 3rd at the Valencia race - shoulder and all. And yes he was trying to see how fast he could go because if they can't get the bike sorted to his liking now there is no 2011 to worry about - good or bad shoulder. He went faster than Cal and JT on the WSBK bike when he was in far worst condition than he was at the Valencia test. If he wasn't trying to see how far he could push the bike than why are they re-designing it after they said they wouldn't? Why did they come out and say it was a "bad test" if they were not looking for times?
