"Tell me why you think that hopper would be good for Suzuki when they have a talent in Bautista?"
I would say because Bautista can't do it alone. It's very hard for a single rider team to succeed with such limited amount of testing in the preseason and next to none in season. I think I saw that Bautista had like 3 or 4 different chassis and a couple of other different things to try. And he got sick the last day so no way did they get all the information they hoped for. During race weekends they will only had the data of 1 rider so Suzuki will be at a disadvantage compared to the other manufactures.
And the fact that Hopper has the experience that Bautista doesn't.
But all that would be contingent on Hopper being the old Hopper.
