I don't think weight is a big issue on a 600. Looking at the profiles on MotoGP riders like De Angelis, Iannone, Noyes, and others aren't midgets nor are super light weight. There are a lot of riders of that build. Riders like Cruthlow has had success in BSS and WSS. In AMA Aaron Yates is 6'1" and well over 150 lbs and he's won a couple of SS titles. I'm not sure the size of Karl Harris when he won all those BSS titles but the way he looks now (and I maybe wrong) he doesn't look like he's ever been considered light weight.
