When Rossi was in Times Square a few years ago(video on Moto GP.com )nobody knew who he was at all. His fans are around the globe, but perhaps other riders will attract more media attention in different markets. Nascar rules the roost and while Rossi has fans in the states he is no media magnet there. MotoGP and motorcycling sees the USA as its primary market for sales of sportbikes and a visit to New York City put that into perspective.I was a hardcore Rossi fan before but the new guys have grown on me. You have to admire their raw speed. Jorge seems the strongest one to me(mentally in a fight). Ben Spies has the mentality to fight it out. Rossi isn't washed up yet but that red bike could be the grim reaper coming to take his career.Bad choice by him.
