Its far too early in the year for contracted riders to be testing 'next years' bikes.........thats the job of the factory test riders, the guys that will actually be competing on them shouldn't be on them except at the official sanctioned tests and after the season is over.
This is nothing more than Ducati playing catch up and attempting to get the current bike to work for Rossi, a bit of rule bending with the blessing of Dorna and the FIM towing along....can't have the Golden Child struggling now can we, its not good for the 'show' or the takings.
They will be testing stuff applicable to the current bike that's pretty much guaranteed, but how's anybody going to prove it?
