Ducati were very special in 2007.
It's true Bridgestone were the tyre to have- how else would have Suzuki been able to get 4th overall for Hopkins?
They had desmo valves when Honda & Yam started with springs (pneumatics came later), and they went back to the screamer engine over the long bang system.
They had a very capable rider on a very fast bike with the best tyres. That sort of domination is very rare and took some special circumstances.
But to say it was just the rider, or just the bike, or just the tyres it'd be foolhardy.
