well done Skidmarks - someone had to get the usual cynical barb in. This is news. You don't have to agree with the stupid celebrity culture the world has, I certainly don't like it much but it is a fool who dismisses it. The fact that the girl is showing up at all will bring a lot of publicity not just to her team but to the whole event and that can only be a good thing.
Credit where credit is due and in this instance Paris Hilton deserves some kudos. Lets face it, she did not have to sponsor a European based motorcycle race team but she did. She would have got a whole lot more publicity if she had stuck her name on some dull car in the states.
