@liam. I wish her the best but I don't see how it's good for the sport if she isn't the most qualified or talented and only got the ride because she is female. like others 11th in her series means there were 10 other riders doing better then her.
I don't see how that promotes a positive message for female athletes as it says they aren't being held to the same standards as the males. If they is the case then why the big push to compete against them? Danica Patrick is a sponsor magnet but a very average driver and to me it's an embarassment that she can finish 15th place and get more press then the person who won a race or title. The same goes for Elena Myers and Melissa Paris in the AMA series. Nothing against any of them but I don't get the point they are trying to make by competing against males
