i have thought the same thing about the moto2 bikes not being nearly the level of skill required as motogp bikes, thank you dovi for confirming this!
and with the electronics, i think the only way to do that would to be kind of like F1. ban it completely, or do spec magnetti marelli computers for everyone that cannot do GPS based and lean based traction control, only wheel speed sensor based traction control. I think this would make the cost come down and the competitiveness come up, if everyone is on the same electronics and the same tire, it will be remaining to be the best chassis , team, and rider.
But if we cut out the electronics then I believe going back to fuel levels that are much more manageable for the electronics (greaterthan 24L , etc ) is going to become necessity also, which i have no problems with at all!
