Good on you for agreeing with your comment so quick Joe- I'm sure if it wasn't Pedrosa's first year in Motogp he would of been much more competitive in 06. Also don't forget Nicky won that championship on consistency, as he only won a single race that year.
Honda is, in my opinion the greatest motorcycle company in the world, but yes I would say that their bike was not the best on the grid for a few seasons consecutively despite Dani finishing runner up and 3rd in the wc on 2 occasions each in the last 4 years.
Why are some people so extreme on this site when making judgement "Honda for 4 years had no idea how to produce a bike that could challenge for the wc". No one made these claims, Dani made good of a bike that was plagued with front end issues and corner stability.
