It must be an enormous jump from any other championship up to Motogp as we have seen many world champions try the jump and fail miserably Toseland, Elias etc. However, a few special individuals seem to make the jump and quickly be obviously competitive Lorenzo, Simoncelli, Spies etc so just being a World Champ doesnt guarantee anything, it seems to be more about the individual. Who would have bet that double world champ Edwards would spend years and years in Motogp, ride factory bikes, be Rossi's teammate and still never win a motogp race. Maybe the teams have learned to read the signs of who has the 'right stuff' and who hasnt. Personally, I think Iannone and Marquez will do OK but Im not so sure about Bradley.
