It's got nothing to do with the engine rule! Suzuki has only 6 engines at their disposal this year, just like everyone else. That rule only was for last year.
If you check the regular engine reports on motomatters, you'll see that Suzuki this year is well within in that engine limit too, they don't have to hide behind any of the other manufacturers in terms of durability.
