Yes, Boo, any manufacturer can build an engine for the series- assuming that they can provide the necessary spares and support (as per the regs). Sadly it's not as easy to stick a motox engine in a frame, they're built for torque and low end drive- these bad boys will need to make their power between 10 and 14,000 rpm if they're to get anywhere near the 50-60bhp mark. 450 twins would be ideal, but I suppose we shouldn't forget that some of these riders are literally children. A 450 4-stroke twin could make 100bhp- old 250 2 stroke territory. That's too fast. I'm looking forward to close racing, good reliability and equal equipment.
