Agreed RobG, Winter tests and race week-end times have always been incomparable. Riders use to be faster during winter-tests, It's not the same weather AT ALL. Way too much humidity in October, track doesn't get enough grip and the engines hate that too.
And most of the best lap times during Winters tests are made in the 5 first laps in the morning. Then the track gets too hot.
