I wish MotoGP would have considered an option in the rules to use 800cc machines, somewhere in the middle of the new rules and CRT. Give the 800cc bikes 22.5L of fuel, 8 engines and a chance to compete cost effectively. This could have attracted satellite teams and passed on the RCV 212 and M1's to satellite teams who could put them in the hands of rookie riders and give them good enough kit to show their talent. Throwing those bikes away just seems worthless to me.
