I'm not surprised that ill-informed idiot Charlie Cox would make disparaging comparisons between Bayliss's and Lorenzo's finger injuries. (The BBC should stop wasting money flying him to races to commentate as he's lazily phoning it in anyway). If Lorenzo had LOST the tip of his finger he'd be riding but fortunately it was found and reattached, so it's perfectly sensible for him not to want to risk undoing all the microsurgery by crashing again while it's still healing. Due to the changes to the testing rules for the MotoGP class, there's no reason to risk it.
