I'm surprised that Stoner did not get out there and pip Dani as he usually likes to set the tone. Does this signal a new approach from Stoner? Or is Dani perhaps better suited to the new bike? After being a second quicker than Dani on the 800cc 2 days ago, I really doubt that Stoner is going to be slower than Dani on the 1000cc at this track. That being the case, how much more could Stoner/Honda have pulled out in these tests? It's a reasonable question.
Would really have liked to see Jorge out there. I think he'd be a number of tenths faster than Ben and thus closer to the lead Hondas. This also would have given the Honda boys an incentive to inadvertantly show their hand a bit more.
