Hector, I wish people like you would just stop it about a "marketing disaster" by changing frames because that could be nothing further from the truth. 99.9% of the buying public can't fully use the bikes to their full ppotential anyway and Ducatist will always buy Ducatis. Was it a "marketing disaster" when Ducati went to the carbon fiber frame instead of the trellis a couple of years ago? No it was not - no one blinked an eye and it didn't hurt the sales of their superbikes. Outside on 2007, Ducati has zero championship pedigree in GPs compared to Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki. They have built their reputation in WSBK - not GPs. As long as the bike they race in WSBK in 2013 is the 1199 then they will be fine. What manufactures change or doesn't change on MotoGP race bikes have nothing at all to do with bike sales.
