In my opinion it seems that this CRT stuff is the wave of the future..cheaper and if factories like Aprilia are warming to the idea then it may be a good thing. They need not be directly involved to receive development ideas and directional feedback for development from racers and not testers. I am sure Forward Racing will be pushing some info to BMW to improve their engines as well, this is a benefit to the CR Team as well as the provider of parts i.e. BMW, Aprilia, etc..maybe suzuki and eventually the rest will follow suit. Larger grids, fast and equal machinery, mostly prototype with higher level of tuning than SBK. Keeping in mind that WSBK may very well follow BSB with the EVO concept to reduce cost... therfore Moto1 would be faster machinery with less restrictions.
