@Mac83. You're absolutely right about the inability of Rossi to come to grips with the Ducati. This whole article, while very interesting, merely shows how skillful Casey Stoner is.
I believe he won more races in the era than anyone else.
A recent article in Road Racing World explained Casey's technique in making the Ducati corner fast and quoted Jeremy Burgess as saying that no one but Casey could ride it like that.
The R.R.W. article goes a long way toward explaining why Casey crashed a little more often than the others. He was closer to , or over the limit more often than the other riders.
Next season it will be interesting to see if Rossi can make a competitive bike out of a turd.
