dangleberry, I'm not saying MotoGP mustn't change... indeed it must to survive. I see CRT as a shoe-in for the slight dumbing down of the unbridled prototype concept, but right now it's too dumbed down. I therefore fundamentally disagree with you and say CRT rules must come towards MotoGP in the (crucial) coming few seasons. Also, the factories should be working behind the scenes to ensure the CRTs are allowed to come up and the factory bikes allowed to come down to meet them. The "distinctly" two tiered approach at present is untenable and as for 2013, well, a full grid of CRT bikes based on the current CRT rules will be a catastrophe from an engineering point of view and the soul of the sport will be destroyed IMHO.
