Hey all let's not take these comments out of context. I do not believe that any of these riders (just like us fans) want the factory prototypes to go. Rossi is older and more mature and has been through more changes and seen more than Casey in GP 500/MGP/800, so he understand the need or at least see the need for a change. Casey is still relishing in the highs of MGP and to have that taken away with CRT is rough. Casey didn't say he would not do it definitively... essentially he said he would not want to or have no interest to. In my opinion that just means "If he has to he will but would prefer not to." Which also in my opinion is what Rossi is saying....keep in mind Rossi has been on the best equipment money has to offer, so to say this just shows his realistic outlook. Casey is just less PR and says what he feels (maybe that is his achilles heel)
