So, the statistic tell us that the 800cc has better consistency than the previous MotoGP machine as demonstrated by Lorenzo and Pedrosa? Probably, the 800cc bike just produce the right amount of usable power for the elite riders that meet the GP circuits challenges these day as KR Snr mentioned back then in the late 990cc era. Why not stay in this format and transfer those electronics aid results into the mechanical solution and makes thing cheaper to produce? In old days, the bike was so difficult to ride and riders develop their own skillful riding techniques. In present days, the bike was so easy to ride, the develop a skillful whining and asking for more power. When come to the day they had to ride a difficult bike, they become stupid for the whole season.
