In defence of rossi and his performance on the ducati . mick doohans recent interview i think best sums it up...quote ... I believe rossis previous domination of the sport and vast exsperience mean he simply wasnt willing to take the same level of risk that stoner did when he was riding the unforgiving and uncompromising desmosedici..Its about valentino knowing the limitations of the bike...Casey is on the other side of that. He is still wanting to prove himself,both to himself and everybody else.Its not that valentio isnt a goodenough rider,he is just a wise rider in a different stage in his carrear.....Its my beliefe that the 2011 season was all about proving to ducati that their stressed member concept didnt facillitate the range of adjustment afforded to their competetors design, and to accomplish a well ballanced machine that responded uniformally and consistantly ,a design change was required.. but seemingly not untill ducati had exhausted all possabillities,hence the many veriat
