For years people were saying 'bring back the 500s!' or 'bring back the 990s!'.
And I always wondered why when it's not the size of the engine which affects the show, it's the nature of the electronics.
Moto2 offered awesome racing last year with just 125bhp and a control ecu/engine.
800cc and 225bhp is more than enough when you don't have variable GPS TC, anti-wheelie and all the other electronic aids!
For me SBK should be 1000cc road derived, Moto2 should be 600cc road derived with protoype chassis (130bhp) and MotoGP should be 600cc prototype engine and chassis, 190bhp and 140kg.
Now that would be pure GP racing!
