A lot of weird opinions saying the M1 was copied from the RC211v. Where? the upside down swingarm? Inline 4 cylinder engine? Short Wheelbase? sweet handling? That was Rossi's first comment when he rode it(Our bike turns good!Is well bike!)Journalists said it felt like an R1. The R1 was released in 1998 while they were still racing 500's (a V4 by the way)and 750cc in rc211 existed. The honda ended up with an upside down swingarm in 2009. is that copying? JB never designed a bike and for sure he never rode the nsr rc211 or m1 he just makes adjustments to it. you don't ask the guy that changes your oil to redesign your chassis and engine package do you?also the previous rules allowedd a 5 cylinder to race at the same weight as a 4.and in 2005 the yamaha dominated the v5 with horsepower and smooth acceleration
