WSB and BSB has had close and exciting racing for years now.
The two race per meeting format seems to work better for the spectator, the grid is well represented by the manufacturers, the bikes seem more evenly matched than their motogp counterparts and the riders seem freer to speak their minds.
Last year motogp almost became a joke with so few bikes on the grid and only one of three or four riders in with a chance of the title. What it lacked was EXCITEMENT!
The whole series needs seriously overhauling.

I can see the whole circus losing heaps of viewing figures and therefore sponsorship money through lack of personality /excitement for the average TV audience.
I KNOW Stoner is fast at the moment and putting in blistering lap times but try explaining how much skill is needed to do that to the uninitiated who just want visual excitement and watch them glaze over.
