I'm against anything that takes away from the riders abilities to win races or the craftiness of the manufacturers to build a competitive bike. This is why I deplore the idea of having multiple tire manufacturers in MotoGP. Have we forgotten what happened in 2007 when nobody on Michelins had a chance? Don't you recall how Tech 3 were permanent back markers on the Dunlops? Seriously, we don't need a tire competition in MotoGP. It only benefits tire manufacturers and single tire rule is the way to go.
Now obviously, the tires MUST be SAFE and there MUST be NO favoritism--problems which ARE NOT a product of a single tire rule. These same problems exist with multiple manufacturers. Please don't attribute them to the single tire rule.
