I have to laugh at some of the anti-Rossi comments here.Even the most hardcore of Stoner fans will acknowledge that Rossi was an unbelievable talent on a 125cc,250cc,500cc,990cc V5,990cc inline 4 and 800cc inline 4.
So the point Southerner makes about Rossi being found out by the 800cc V4 Ducati GP11 (GP11.5,GP12) is not a valid argument.
Are you really telling me that it was the bike that made the differance in all those battles with Gibernau,Biaggi,Stoner,Lorenzo etc.
No,it was rider skill and sheer bravery.I think we can all agree that in 2007,Rossi's Yamaha M1 was inferior to Stoner's Ducati GP7. Yet Rossi still won four races.Alot of people on this site like to make a point of Stoner being able to ride an inferior bike.I'd just like to point out that he is not the only one. Example - Lorenzo 2011,Pedrosa 2010.
I don't mean to sound like a Rossi fanboy but I just don't like seeing an icon of the sport I love ridiculed this way.I respect Casey Stoner for all his talents but why
