I am a Rossi fan and I know he is highly unlikely to even podium. But he is certainly closer than last year. JLO also has a shot and while others get pissed off he was fighting a performace gap as well as a great rider. With what seems a reduction in that performance gap I see great things for JLO as I think skill gap between him and Stoner is miniscule. As for Pedro if he doesn't get injured I can see him shaking things up and don't forget every race he wins Stoner doesn't meaning it could be a three way contest. I just want to see someone put Stoner under pressure for an entire race, for an entire season.
