Until WSB machines are dumbed back down to where they really belong (i.e. full factory homologation of all performance enhancing systems and race preparation limited to track safety only), we're always going to have this clash of interests and technologies issue. Grand Prix prototype racing should be as free as absolutely possible within set cc limits (250,500,750 or 200,600,1000... it really matters not) and once set, the rules should remain untouched for as long as is feasibly possible, which should in practise, be a very long time.
