Hayden was ahead of Rossi almost the entire session and was rarely out of the top 5 and frequently there or thereabouts, as was both Cal and Spies. In fact, those two lead for most of the session while Pedrosa was behind Rossi until the final few minutes. This was no soft tyre special situation for Hayden.
